If you submit the waitlist form after accepting, Meta automatically sends a one-way SHA-256 hash of your email address (never the plain email) alongside the Lead event. This helps Meta match the sign-up to an existing Facebook or Instagram account for ad measurement purposes ("Advanced Matching").
